Top Notch Resort and Spa combines first-class accommodations and services with a full range of resort activities, a world class spa and many other delightful amenities: continental cuisine in our numerous restaurants; two retail outlets with everything from Vermont keepsakes, handcrafts to exercise-wear and sports equipment; a full-service beauty salon; and comfortable common areas such as our Living Room, where complimentary tea and fresh home baked cookies are served each afternoon.
For sports, recreation and leisure, Topnotch is a prime location year-round with many entertaining activities, no matter what the weather. Guests can swim in our indoor or outdoor pools; play tennis on our indoor or outdoor courts; cross-country and downhill ski; take a horseback riding lesson; hike, bike, or in-line skate; or take advantage of our spa programs, including aerobic classes, circuit weight training, and a wide variety of revitalizing treatments. Dining
Like everything else at Topnotch, dining reflects Vermont. Executive Chef Doug Barg uses local organic ingredients obtained through the Vermont Fresh Network whenever possible. Award-winning Vermont cheese and dairy products appear regularly on the menu – itself a vibrant mix of classics like jumbo lump crab cakes and prime beef filet, plus innovations: tandoori-seared sea scallops and coffee-cured duck breast.

Accommodations
Top Notch hotel rooms are decorated in European country manor style. Hotel rooms all have air conditioning, cable television, full bath, nightly turndown service and daily maid service. Room service is available from the dining room.
From luxurious resort homes, each with their own personality, to spacious guest rooms and suites in the hotel, Topnotch offers remarkable variety. You can stay in a resort home with a sundeck and view of the mountains or in the hotel very close to all the action. Select Resort Homes have a bathroom with a whirlpool, just what you need to wind down. Every room has plush terry-cloth robes to pull on afterwards.
Pets are welcome in the hotel section of the Resort but are not permitted in the Resort Homes, around the pools or in the restaurants and bars. Topnotch is a smoke free Resort and smoking is only permitted in designated rooms of the hotel but not in any of the Resort Homes and Public Areas.
